Vernon Simmons was born to Vernon and Shelby Simmons in 1971. I grew up in Troy, NC, where I started singing at an early age. My father and brothers would sit on our front porch and play music. Saturday nights, I would listen to the harmony of the old gospel songs like “The Old Rugged Cross” and “How Great Thou Art”, I knew there was something special about the great God they were singing about. When I was ten I gave my heart to the Lord. I began to sing anytime I could sneak the mic away, at revival services around Troy and Asheboro. In 2003 I made a call to the Trinity Quartet about a song I heard on the radio. Mike asked me if I sang tenor and 21 years later I’m still here. What an honor to sing in a quartet and still see souls saved to a song or testimony.

Today I live in Asheboro, NC with my wife, Tammy, of 30 years. I want to thank her for supporting me in this ministry. My desire is that God use me and this group through His Son to see souls saved.

Michael Toney is the lead singer and manager of Trinity Quartet. Born and raised in Burlington, NC, Michael accepted the Lord his senior year of high school at the age of sixteen. Bill Graham came to Williams High School in 1969 and held Revival in the gym all week long. Michael was there every night and on Friday night he accepted the Lord as his Personal Savior. Soon he drifted away and started singing in night clubs and country music bars. This went on for many years. In 1990 he redirected his life back to the Lord and started singing gospel music. He started singing with The Dosses in a mixed quartet. Two years later he started his own trio, “Trinity”. A few years later Trinity became Trinity Quartet.

I would like to thank all the people that have been in Trinity Quartet over the years. Each one will always have a special place in my heart. I am thankful for the opportunity to sing the  message in song to a lost and dying world, and be an encouragement to believers. I have been married to my wife, Tina, for 40 years. We have one son, Austin, his beautiful wife Brandy and three grandchildren Ryen, Logan and Collins.

I hope to see you in a service.

Being born in the mountains of Virginia, quartet music has always been a huge part of my life. Looking back over events of my past, it was obvious that God had plans for my life. No matter how hard I tried to do it my way, it never would work out. I am saved, and married to my loving and talented wife of 18 years, Denise. We have four children , 7 grandchildren, as well as two dogs and two birds. It is an honor to be invited to sing with the Trinity Quartet. In His time, I am finally where I believe I am supposed to be. All praise and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! For it is through Him that all things are possible.

I’m Caleb Snelson. I’m 30 years old. I gave my heart to the Lord when I was 11 years old. I haven’t always been the best Christian in the world. But the Lord took care of me each step of the way. I grew up always wanting to be a bass singer. Well the Lord has blessed me and allowed me to follow my dream. I thank the Lord every day for giving me the talent that he has given me.

My main role model is my father. Growing up I always wanted to be like him. He was a Godly influence and most of all, he is a bass singer to. I’ve learned a lot from my dad. In my opinion I couldn’t ask for a better role model. I’m so thankful for the trinity quartet for giving me this opportunity. My goal is to make them proud! I look forward to the time ahead and ready to see what the Lord has in store for Trinity Quartet.
